Petetrucker07 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Celebrities are dropping like flies! So many already, the list is long. We're only in the middle of January!
Snake45 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Everybody's gotta go sometime...I don't feel like it (most days), but I'm definitely playing the "back nine" myself...maybe the final two or three or four, who knows....
Petetrucker07 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) Dan Haggerty today, Alan Rickman yesterday. Some young Disney actor, Celine Dion's husband, Otis Clay, a few actors and singers from the 50s. Something like 16 have passed already this year. Edited January 16, 2016 by Petetrucker07
mikemodeler Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 You have to get out more Harry. Don't you watch any news, either online or TV? There have been actors, musicians, athletes and others.
Harry P. Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I watch/read the news on TV and online. I knew about Dan Haggerty... some guy who was last seen in a TV show 40 years ago isn't exactly a "celebrity" in my book. Also knew about Otis Clay... again, not exactly a big star in my world. Don't know who Alan Rickman even is, and didn't hear about Celine Dion's husband... no mention of his death on any of the radio or TV shows I regularly listen to/watch.
Dave Van Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Added media hype too........it's a hot topic with gotcha factor.
Mike_G Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Alan Rickman was the bad guy, Hans Gruber, in the Die Hard films.
Joe Handley Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 He was also Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies and was also in Galaxy Quest.
mike 51 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Well 2016 isn't really all that different.."Of the roughly 150,000 people who die each day across the globe, about two thirds—100,000 per day—die of age-related causes. In industrialized nations, the proportion is much higher, reaching 90%."
Snake45 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Well 2016 isn't really all that different.. "Of the roughly 150,000 people who die each day across the globe... So the number's up 10K since BOC sang about it? The only answer must be...more cowbell!
