I remember somebody was offering a conversion for the Revell 1950 Olds to the fastback. I don't believe it was Hendrix or Flintstone (although I could be wrong- there's don't look like they're designed for it.)

Anyone have a pointer in the right direction?

I bought my body from Flintstone, actually a very nice cast for a change with very little clean up. The mold release is another story.

I bought one from Best Model Car Parts (www.bestmodelcarparts.com) last year.  It kit contains the body shell, inner door panels, rear bumper, seats, interior rear floor panel,  rear body flange and templates for the new window glass required.  Have not built it yet but the castings look very good with minimal cleanup required.

Sorry, I don't remember what I paid for it.

OOOOPS!  Reread your post and saw "fastback" not station wagon which I responded with.  Age is catching up with me.

I only just noticed this topic...

I had that fastback body, it's traded now, but I got it a while ago in another trade here, along with the Revell Olds, and I was told it's a Jimmy Flintstone piece... Either way, I tried it on the Revell chassis and it fit perfectly ;)

I hope this helps...

Good eye, not many people seem to know that the Apollo exists! The photo is of a '74 Apollo GSX, but that one in the picture isn't mine. I own a '73 that I rescued from a salvage yard that I'm slowly working on...my long term plans are to auto cross it, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of suspension work in the future. Here's mine as it sits now (technically I have two, but the black one is a donor). It's pretty rough right now...I put the engine in at the salvage yard so I could drive it home, so I was more concerned about getting from A to B than cleaning up and making it pretty...that'll come with time.
