Not to bad considering this time yesterday this kit was bare plastic. Only thing done prior to yesterday morning  was the chassis and interior tub were painted black

Built box stock . The engine in the kit isnt accurate anyway  ( the actual car has a 273 ) So the hood was glued shut and I made it a curbside build.

I painted the entire body gold, then the nose was painted with Tamiya pure white followed by a light coat of Testors white lightning to give it a pearl effect . The rear end of the body was done in a dark metallic red. Then most of the body as fogged with Testors clear red to get the candy apple look to it. Topped off wth Testors wet look clear. Very simple kit to do and REALLY looks killer in person . Pictures really dont show the candy affect to it very well

I'd definitely love to see it!

Beautiful effect of your multi-fade paint job, and achieved so quickly. A great addition to your collection. I've never been brave enough to attempt a quick build, that's why I have so many WIPs in progress.

Congrays on a beautiful job!

Nice model! I'm so slow it blows my mind anyone could build a model in 24 hrs. Heck, I spent the better part of 6 hours the other day just trying to wire a distributor kit!!!!
