forthlin Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) Every once in a while you can get a model where nothing goes right. This was one of those. I had to repaint it twice. Dropping it the first time right after I painted it & then putting a big thumb print on it. Then my elbow hit the chassis knocking it off the table breaking two tires off, part of the front suspension & the rear end. Here it is finally pieced back together.together. I painted it Mythical maroon. Edited March 5, 2016 by forthlin
gardnerpag44 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Really nice looking build , looks good in that color
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Looks great, especially considering its misadventures along the way. Very nice paint, definitely a good color for it.
bismarck Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 I like that!!! I have one in '50's aqua, but i really like the red. Sweet build!!
Harry P. Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 To be honest, your foil work is a little ragged in spots, but overall it's a good looking model.
Canso65 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I don't think I have ever built a model where I haven't messed something up Mike. You pulled through with it and it looks great.
forthlin Posted March 6, 2016 Author Posted March 6, 2016 To be honest, your foil work is a little ragged in spots, but overall it's a good looking model. I know I should have been more careful. By the time I got to foiling it I was pretty fed up with all the problems I was having & didn't take my time to do it right..
1930fordpickup Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I like it looks good. That's ok about the foil Mike are old eyes would never see without the help of a camera and computer screen.
landman Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Looks great, especially considering its misadventures along the way. Very nice paint, definitely a good color for it. X2.
CometMan Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Nicely done Mike! Don't see too many of those in stock form!
