Sixties Sam
Hey all, I just built this Revell 57 Ford Del Rio wagon with the police car option. Paint is Rustoleum hunter green, and the white is white primer with wet look clear sprayed over it. I bought a resin sheriff to stand beside it. He's talking to the folks at Dad's garage in the photos - looking for those punk kids and their noisy hot rods! The kit is nice to build - went together well. I added a license plate after the photos were shot. Comments are welcome. Edited March 13, 2016 by Sixties Sam

Sixties Sam
Thanks for the compliments, guys! I appreciate them. Here's a shot of the engine and interior during construction. I picked the green color for the body because it matched the green interior decals.

Lovefordgalaxie
I like it very much. Even the splash pan is painted the correct color, what is a lot more we can say, for example, of one built on the latest edition of a famous magazine about scale autos, that had too many mistakes to count, and called itself a stock build. Also liked the intake manifold painted aluminum. It looks like the Sheriff has an aftermarket intake, and maybe a big Autolite carburetor hiding there.
