Ulbo Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Nice muscle car built!!! Especially color and vinyl combination
bbowser Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 That's a real beauty! Love the top, great paint and color choice.
kelson Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Even though this kit has been panned by quite a few,it's amazing how a few changes can really make it shine.
Snake45 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Very cleanly built! About as well as this kit can be built without the major surgery necessary to correct its flaws. Well done and model on!
restoman Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I'm a Mopar guy, but this Chevy looks fantastic!Nice job!
tyrone Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Thanks for the kind words fellas I really appreciate it...
Mustang Madness Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Awesome build Tyrone!! ..... you really know how to make 'em great
Fanof69 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Beautiful build. Love the color, and it looks great with the vinyl top. Well done!!
Kmb0319 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Tyrone, this is AWESOME!!!!! I just finished my second one of these as well... I was going to post it today, but now it's practically embarrassing. Phenomenal job!I used the same RS grill on my first build of the kit (Better off Dead Camaro) but wanted to use the regular grill for the one I'm about to post. I also used the wheels from the 67 Chevelle on the BOD car. For this one, I bought some resin bare rally wheels on ebay to give it a meaner look.Your build is stunning... the blue is beautiful, and that vinyl top is incredible. I keep trying to get up the guts to try one....
GTJUNIOR Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Well executed clean build of a great car. Loving it. Can I have the keys please?
tyrone Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 Thanks felllas for the kind words.. I really appreciate it, this is a nice kit for the most part, I love Camaro's and this kit is alot better than the AMT kit... the vinyl top came about because of a mistake, I managed to get a drop of glue on the roof while foiling and installing the glass. So I had to back up and punt..lol.. I like it better with the vinyl top btw.. I guess everything does happen for a reason.. here's a few pic of the disaster, and the interior.. thank you again guys..
The Modeling Hermit Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Thanks for sharing the build shots. I was starting to think that you had a shrink ray hidden someplace. LOL
