SfanGoch Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Another part of our childhood memories is gone. I met her some years ago and she was a really nice, down-to-earth person. I still watch The Patty Duke Show with my kid.Patty Duke Dead at 69
sjordan2 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 The media explosion that began with TV just brings us the passing of more and more aging celebrities. I'm Patty's age, and it's so sad to see people who became part of our culture and memories pass away. Even worse, experiencing the passing of so many of our real friends and acquaintances.
Harry P. Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Geez, this "celebrities dying in their sixties" trend is really getting out of hand.David Bowie... Glenn Frey... Garry Shandling... Patty Duke...

Wow, remember when they all wanted to die before they turned 30? "Live fast, Die Young, and leave a good looking corpse"
slusher Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Just watched "Valley of the Dolls" a few weeks ago. She died of Sepsis from an intestine tear. So many dying in their 60's I may not have long left. Had to stop watching Dr Oz he was worrying me.... '
Joe Handley Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Dang, Sepsis is what nearly killed Mom almost a year ago........I feel horrible for her to have to go that way!
RandyEarle Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 She was 4 years older than me, but to me she will always be "cousins".
