I enjoyed building the kit kit but I was very disappointed and frustrated with the decals. They were prone to fracturing and even though they were thin they could not be convinced to conform to the kit's contours by any of the decal setting solutions I have on hand.

Very nice.  It could pass for a 1:1 in a couple of those shots.

I would say none of your frustrations are evident in the final product.

That is a REALLY sweet BMW!! it looks tough!! -Great job!! unusual for that kit to have crappy decals, but you stuck it out, and it looks Great!!

Instead of decal solvents try a hot damp cloth pressed over the decal. Use a hot damp q-tip for small areas like a NACA duct.
