Kind of an off the wall project. 1/25 scale(the Volvo is for comparison) Made out of .040 styrene, (W/M "moving sale signs!), wheels are from a Just Trucks diecast, make build stock wheels for it. It will be a slammer with an interior and sliding side doors. (I hope!)

Larry, did you have a set of plans for that body? That is looking spectacular!

I've been wanting to replicate a van like that for years now.

First, thanks for the comments guys! G, all Ive got is a pattern for the side. Anyone wanting to build one of these, ck out morgonolson.com, click on literature, then click on either of the first 3 pics. Line drawings and measuements are at the bottom of the page. Ill try to have more on this one next wk! Have fun!!!

If you want a head start, Jeff Ballard does the Grumman Kurbmaster and this is a very nice kit.

There's good info and photos on that page. Her'e a link to it at Motor City Resins.

yeah, and the whole time I was cutting the body, I was thinking surely someone makes one, but I couldnt find it. And his look alot better than mine!!!!

I second the motion .. your body looks great and I'm still sitting here watching! My post of the Kurbmaster was only aimed at Agent G looking for a resin body.

no harm done, guys!! what I meant was that is if I wanted to build a "kit" , the grumman looks to be well done. More on mine sometime this week.

A little more work on this one, sliding doors done, bumper from an autocar, newray toy wheels converted to six lug, drip rails, side rub bars and dash started. Mirror bracket is aluminum tig welding wire. more later

I was just like you. I wanted a step van, so I made one. And u did one heck of a job too!!!! Hey G, check this one out, wow!
