With Modelhaus announcing their retirement and the demand for their products weighing them down. I wanted to start a thread of finished builds of Modelhaus Kits and builds using their products.

I can't think of a better way of saying "Thank You" to them by showing them what we have built with their products.

I hope this thread grows and they get to see these builds. Please mention in the post what Modelhaus parts were used for the build, restoration or conversion.

Here is my first Modelhaus kit that I built. It is a resin copy of the MPC 68 Charger R/T. I built this over 10 years ago.

Only one I have pictures of. Only thing I've ever bought from them are parts.

Front and rear bumpers are Modelhaus pieces

I haven't built any complete Modelhaus kits......yet, but I have used a lot of their parts for many of my restorations.

I use a lot of their tires & have done several kits with their beautiful wire wheels.

I think the kit I've built using the most parts from Modelhaus is my '58 Ford Sunliner.

It utilized the convertible up top, the continental kit & a set of wide whites from Modelhaus.

All very nice stuff!

I don't know what I'll do without their excellent tires! :(

I've only ever built two of their kits, but have gotten excellent parts from them over the years. In fact, I have a number of Don and Carol's items to keep me busy for awhile.

Here's the two I've built within the last 10 years or so................

Nice stuff Bill!

I have seen, & drooled over your '61 Caddy, But I don't think I have ever seen your '59 Buick.

Both gorgeous!!

Thanks Steve! The Buick wasn't a total Modelhaus effort-----I had a junker '59 Chevy kit (busted body) and used its interior for the Buick. The resin repop had a convertible interior with those doglegs in in the rear seat, and I didn't want to use that. So the Chevy kit didn't go to waste as I used its seats, floor, and rear package shelf to make the Buick a bit more detailed.

Bill, thanks for showing the 61 Cadillac,   It, along with a 56 Cadillac coupe, 59 & 62 Olds 88 4 door hardtops, and a 58 Ford Custom 300, are some cars I have on order from them..  This 59 Mercury is one of the models that has benefited from their products.

Beautiful model. I've been looking for this color in a spray can, do you remember what color it is and if it's available in a spray can or do I need to break down and get an air brush?

I airbrushed it on. It is Testors Model Master British Green met. It may be available in a spray.
