Quick afternoon build from the AMT SnapFast kit. It's a curbside, but I loved the design and was looking for something quick and simple to take a break from some headache projects I'm working on. Polished the body with Novus, did some minor interior and body detailing. I'll probably detail the chassis in the future. Also my first time taking pictures outdoors...I don't have a diorama yet but the lighting sure beats inside.

Cool looking Vette for sure. Did you do an airbrush fade on the sides, it's hard to see in the pics? Nice job.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm happy with the way this turned out especially considering it was built over about 4 hours.. As I said I did this mainly because I liked the body style, but it really was good practice for me in the detailing department as well...I learned a few tricks along the way. I think I'm gonna take the windshield back off and try to BMF the trim rather than the silver paint..historically I've used Silver Chrome Trim for those pieces, which looks better than plain silver but I was out and didn't want to go to the store or wait, because I knew I wanted to try BMF anyway and figured this would be an easy kit to try it on. Mercelo, being a snap kit the body was pre-painted, albeit dull as heck, so I just gave it a nice polish with the Novus kit, but the blue-silver fade was already there.
