Bob Ellis
This kit came out with the 1970 Galaxie cop car. I bought one when no more annual 70 Impalas were available

NuovoSFPD2n3/4
CLEAN! Did those nice Bowtie hubcaps come with the vintage kit?
spkgibsonfirebird
Great looking build, I have an original unbuilt version, the reissue one from a few years ago, and a couple other versions of the AMT 70 Impala in different box art, these kits are one of my favorites to build. I have plans for building one in Autumn Gold with the tan vinyl roof and interior. And yes the bowtie hubcaps are in the original version, the reissue had all new wheels. lizardlust
Wonderfully done!! I have loved this kit since the original release.. sadly my first build at around 7 years old was nowhere nearly as nice as your rendition.. but I bet I did manage to use a lot more glue on mine!!
