Gt fan Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Just a few quick pictures of my Lamborghini . It was done to represent a pre-session test car . The kit is the Aoshima All-inkl kit. The kit goes to getter well. The doors are a bit tricky, but work and look good when done. Most of the car is decals from Scale Motorsports. The camo and all the carbon decals. The only painted parts of the car are the wheels, the side views, the wing end plates and the dash top and the cage. The car used three camo sheets and two carbon sheets. Thanks for looking better pictures to follow
Jhedir6 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Really nice.... I bet that was not a lot of fun to decal. Great job.David
Nacho Z Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I think this is very cool! It is very different, which makes it cool. It looks like you did a nice job with all of those decals.
Codi Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I applaud your willingness to tackle such a decal job. Can't get my head around even attempting such a project and you pulled it off nicely. cheers, tim
Hubert Rollins Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 The wrap's not my style, but it's a nice model and you did great work!!
Helix Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Tim, I take my hat off to you for your perseverance with the decals, well done mate !
DeeCee Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I paint everything myself, because i can't do the most basic decal with out stuffing it up.That is a very nice job on the build and especially the decal work.
Gt fan Posted May 3, 2016 Author Posted May 3, 2016 Thanks for the kind words. It was almost three months of just decal work. The whole concept started off the nose. I love decals. My hats off to Scale Motorsports, those decals went down with barely any decal set. I used the new Scale Motorsport decal set.
Rider Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 That looks fantastic! I just picked those decals up at my LHS this weekend.
CFMgarage Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 That's so badass. For a second I thought you sharpied that. I was like "whoa skills" but even the decal work requires tremendous amounts of skill, so well done!!!
Jeepxj Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Well, obviously, great job on the decals.Ive seen this 1:1 car a few times in person.I gotta say,if you stare at the pattern too long, you start hallucinating, and seeing weird stuff.L
