.........one of my all time favorite Plymouth super stockers.....great to see a nice build of this piece, terrific work, John, as we are now accustomed to with all your drag cars......best,,,the Ace..............;)

 Were the Fred Cady decals very difficult to work with?

No sir, they worked just fine ,,,,,,,,,,,,, you just have to trim them close and pay attention to the overlays :P

I just Wish someone would do the decals for this car in the correct color.

 

The Plymouth and Cable lettering should be red

gtx6970 said he wished somebody would do the decals for this car in the correct colors. I am one of the people who asked Fred Cady to make decals for this car. This was in the mid 1990's when color photos of the car were harder to come by. I mailed him some b&w photos because that's all I could find. I'd love to talk to Fred today, about these decals. Perhaps he guessed at the colors. I don't know. I've scanned a decal sheet for this and photoshopped the colors to make them right. Incidentally, I never knew the car had a red interior until seeing these photos.

Bill Housh out of Newcastle okay is my grandfather. I would. Love to purchase this if is available to serve as memorial for our family. Thanks for reply if possible!!!

Kendall, what are you asking to purchase? I assume you aren't referring to the decals. There are 2 models of Don Grotheer's 67 Plymouth. I built the second one, which I posted above, 6 years ago.
