GaryR Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Not what you want cast, but parts finished, nicely done, not a work in progress.if you do, I may be able to get some well known casters to cast hem for sale.MUST BE MOLD READY!Let me know!
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 The body skins are ready for this one, but i suspect there's not enough interest to justify casting it. It's a backdate to the non-supercharged version of this kit, recently reissued.
oldcarfan Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 I would love to have a copy of the MT Challenger.
GaryR Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 I think that's a cool project! What did you do for injectors? any pics of them?I vote yes, have passed it along to the appropriate person. It will take a couple days to hear back.Nice work!!!
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Thanks. This one's done too, all but for one or two more coats of primer and a little fine sanding...
Toner283 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 If that roadster gets cast I am interested depending on quality and price. I will pay modelhaus type price for modelhaus type quality. For jimmy flintstone type quality, you lost me as a buyer. Nothing against JF but I am not interested in a resin body that requires that much rework to be (IMO) presentable.
GaryR Posted June 12, 2016 Author Posted June 12, 2016 Bill, shoot me an e mailrmrgdr@aol.comLet's see what we can get going!

Mr. Metallic Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Passing EVERYTHING along! I'm just the middleman!Don't be shy guys! Thanks for passing mine along. He's very interested, just have to get them finished up
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Just remembered...I have this one very close now too. Again, I think there may not be enough interest; it takes some extensive chassis work to get the body to fit, as the car is sectioned and the wheel wells are opened up considerably.
GaryR Posted June 24, 2016 Author Posted June 24, 2016 Acegarageguy, you have no e mail.PLEASE contact , Chuck at Altered States is VERY INTERESTED in the roadster, GET IT CAST!\Contact him here:asmodels@aol.comI'm just the middle man, he doesn't read Forums.
Joeys Models Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Its is very cast able. But you would have to have the noes piece as a separate piece. Can not pull that body out of a mold with that nose as part of the body. Belly pan would have to be a separate piece too.
89AKurt Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Following.....Just in case I do the '57 Chevy 4 door station wagon, and/or Mercedes 170 convertible that my dad owned.
socal76 Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 (edited) Ace-Garageguy, I think you may be wrong about hot much interest in the casting. I think it might be nice to have two different versions of the Challenger. And I think the cut down version of the one with the car on the back end would be a great 3rd version. Just my opinion, for what its worth. And I think you need to make sure in the desription that it is noit the same version as the kit. I saw your mention of it here but those that did not, might be much more likely to purchase on if that is specified in big bold print. At first that is what I thought until I read your info in the post. I thought maybe someone had done a straight re-cast of the kit before it was rereased. Edited May 16, 2017 by socal76
