I nearly watched the whole race.

I was already gave up at last and turned to my textbooks, suddenly i heard shouting from the anchor said that Toyota went no power..oh my god only 3 minutes left and the leader toyota went no power!!!

then finally Porsche wins..again. the 18 times. Audi screwed up this time, but luckily as the leader toyota went no power, they got and take a chance to stand on the stage.

this is the first time i saw the race online, and this is amazing!! So this is LeMans, this is really really amazing.

Once upon a time, I did the same as you and posted the results of a race in the title of a message without letting everyone know that it was a spoiler alert. A few people were upset with me. Some people record the race and watch it when they can. Giving the results in the title without a spoiler alert isn't a good idea. Just saying.

This is what they did to slow a few down.

  • Ford GT: 10 kilogram increase in weight over qualifying spec, reduction in turbo boost pressure
  • Ferrari 488 GTE: 15 kilogram increase in weight over qualifying spec, 2-liter increase in fuel capacity
  • Corvette C7.R: 0.2 mm increase in air restrictor size, 2-liter increase in fuel capacity
  • Aston Martin Vantage GTE: 0.2 mm increase in air restrictor size

"Toyota went no power"? How does this mean? Did the engine die? Losing power? Or what?

They lost power in the Gas engine. The car was driven by the electric hybrid motor to finish but not classified due to exceeding the 6 minutes required to get the car around after the winner finishes. A normal lap time for these cars is around 3 mimutes 25 seconds.Under acceleration when the gas and electric are on these cars have about 1000 bhp.

That's OK, I felt the same way when I told the world Jacques Villeneuve had won the Formula 1 championship in 1997. I was a fan of his and was just excited to talk about it. Putting Spoiler Alert in the title of your post warns everyone before they open and read it.

Does anyone else think this is a stupid rule?
