LaFerrari - Revell

Hey Guys

This is my recently completed LaFerrari. I was given the Revell version as a gift, Its not bad, but its certainly not great either. I still plan to get the Tamiya version & do a good job on that. Had a few issues with paint peeling off, primer didint want to stick to the plastic...
Not happy with the rear wheels ride height but nothing I can do about it, changed the wheels to 20" ADV.1 wheels from C1, but used Aoshima 20" tires. Its as low as I can get with the front wheels touching the wheel arches & the car sitting level... 
Painted Zero Paints - Ferrari Abu Dhabi Blu, a great colur, thats quite rare but is a standard ferrari colour & has been for almost 10yrs now. Its a really nice dark teal colour, photos dont do it justice.
Otherwise build out of the box, let me know what you think.

The F50 is Ferrari TDF Blu

I think you did a fantastic job on it........and the others!,  Q:did the mesh come with the Revell kit?  IMO, it barely looks like a Revell, more like a top-end Japanese kit! -Very well done!!

Cheers Mate, Yes the mesh came with the Revell kit, the instructions even had a template you cutout & trim around, still got half the mesh left over too.

I just picked this up at HL on clearance and there was no mesh. Will have to fill out a parts request at Revell.com it looks like. I've even seen an open kit before that had the mesh in it. Oh well, I have time to wait, kit going in my stash.

Just checked the box, its the Revell of Germany one. molded in red plastic. so that could be the difference.
