Chariots of Fire Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Did this one a few years back by bashing the 1950 Chevy with the 1999 version. Cab was extended and the grill and front end were modified using the 1999 front bumper. I use it to haul the trailer and a fixer-upper.
towman1271 Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 You have a impressive imagination.. Turned out amazing
Maindrian Pace Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Great blend! I could easily see building a real truck like that.
mikemodeler Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Nice work as usual, love the blend of old and new.
disabled modeler Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Awesome work....I like the one in the background....
Chariots of Fire Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 Awesome work....I like the one in the background.... That's a '66 Chevy fire tanker I was working on at the time. Holthaus resin cab. Here are some pics of it. (I know they belong in the big truck listing but here they are anyway!).

kilrathy10 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 That looks COOL......What an awesome idea.....Man.....That would look right at home on MY shelf, but I guess if I want one, I'd better get to building.. ....I really like that idea....Just might have to try something like that.......
Chariots of Fire Posted August 20, 2016 Author Posted August 20, 2016 Yep, better get crackin' JT! Now that it's done I think I should have tried to blend in a more modern fleetside body. Somewhere I have pix of the trailer that goes with it. Will have to dig them out.
