cobraman Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Finished this one this morning. Just another of my silly ideas. Chassis and engine is one of the ones from the Revell Tony Nancy double dragster kit. The body was modified from an AMT kit. Body interior was filled with sheet plastic and putty. Paint is Duplicolor yellow. Decals from the parts box and then cleared. Parts box windshield. I think it turned out ok. Not great, not terrible. Comments pro or con are always welcome.
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I like it......totally different! X2. A LOT.
txfatboy Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Hey, It looks like you plucked it right out of the late 50's/ early 60's. Pretty cool.
Harry P. Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Dare to be different! But you'll need to have some sort of linkage between the steering wheel and the front axle...
Dann Tier Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Wow!, very different, but well done as usual, AND very cool!!
cobraman Posted August 31, 2016 Author Posted August 31, 2016 Thanks guys. You are very correct about the steering linkage Harry. OOPS !
DumpyDan Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 SWEET! I love this, makes me want to dig out my project drag car and I am not a drag car guy but this is inspiring
DrKerry Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Ooooooo that turned out nice Ray!!!!!!!!!!!
stavanzer Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Neat Build! Has a nice 'nostalgia' vibe to it. Looks like something you'd see at the track at the March Meets.
