disconovaman Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Does anybody know if 1/32" pinstripes is the size I need to use to separate colors. What is smaller than 1/32"? I have some 1/8" and it is too big and I've had the size I need along time ago but I can't remember what this size is for ordering more... thanks for any help, heres what I'm working on. I want to pinstripe the stripes in white to separate the colors and make them stand out more.
Jon Haigwood Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Check out Line O Tape , I know the go down to 1/32 at Mega Hobby https://www.megahobby.com/brands/Line-O-Tape.html
Can-Con Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Microscale makes some incredibly thin stripe waterslide decals for HO scale trains. They label them as 1 and 2 wide inch strips so whatever HO scale is,, so they'd be 1/87 and 1/43 of an inch ?? I'm not sure but the ones I have are thinner than the line from a Bic pen. They come in several colors too.
peteski Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 If the decals are H0 (1:87) scale 1" wide decals then they are in actual inches 0.011" wide. The 2" version would be 0.022" wide.
