matthijsgrit Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Dear fellow modellers,This message is kind of a 'feeler'...I was wondering... I want to clear out my collection of kits. I have way too many to be built any time soon (enough)... So, one of my options is to trade with you guys or an other option is thw interweb (like EBay etc).Would any of you consider trading with someone from an other continent? MG
iBorg Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I think it comes down to what the items are. If it involved something I could buy at the local hobby shop, the answer would be unlikely. Any savings in trading would be ate up in postage. If what you have to offer is unusual in the United States or expensive enough to warrant the shipping, I think it might be worth your while. The problem isn't your location but rather the shipping charges. I know I used to trade with folks from Canada all the time until shipping rates went up. At one time, I could ship to Canada for within a dollar of shipping in the United States. Now the costs are at least 50% more. It makes trading more difficult to financially justify unless its an item I really want.
Johan020 Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I am close to please send me a list also johan

And also what hinders me in buying stuff from the USA, although I didn't have issues with shipping costs in the past... I'll work on my list and put it up in a couple of days ...Thanks guys! MG
iamsuperdan Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I'd be interested. I've shipped guitar parts to and from Europe before. For the right model kits, I'd do the same. If you're compiling a list, I'd be interested.
Draggon Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I've had no problems sending things to Europe before. I'd like to see a list, too.
matthijsgrit Posted October 3, 2016 Author Posted October 3, 2016 List is up in a couple of minutes...

matthijsgrit Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Allready 1.140 minutes now ??I figured the "Trading" section would be the best place to post... :-)
Daddyfink Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 So, what do you have for trade? Or are we going to keep watch on how long it is going to take until this gets moved to the Trading Thread?
matthijsgrit Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) Check the Trading section. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/117229-multiple-kits-for-trade/ It's all there... Edited October 5, 2016 by matthijsgrit
