When building up the Avanti using the 2 superchargers, it looks like it is missing the intake manifold.  It seems the "missing" manifold should look like a dual-quad manifold.  Any comments would be great.  Thanks

Looks like the "blower outlet tubes" mount direct from the blowers to the heads, but you seem to be right--there's nothing to go on top of the engine where the two mounting pegs are. I suppose you can just trim those off, file the top of the engine flat, and paint it engine color or perhaps aluminum as a "valley cover."

Or maybe there's a part in the kit that didn't make it onto the instruction sheet for some reason.

Yes....the kit is not missing any parts.  Those two parts fit directly to the cylinder heads (although the fit is not great, and needs some tweaking).  I do think adding a vallley cover (from thin sheet styrene) would make for a better looking presentation.

That's a great link, Keyser, truly a must for anyone building this kit.  Wow......TIM

Looking at the instructions, the intake manifold for the Fuel Meter #510 is not shown. I think that what they left off was to use the intake manifold #16 and mount the Fuel Meter in place of the carb.  The Blower Intake Manifold #530 is attached to the Fuel Meter and is attached to the two Super Chargers. The single blower setup is a "blow thru" system using the carburetor  and the duel blower system was a fuel injection system.

No intake manifold, just steel plate covering valley, seen in top photo just in front of distributor.

Fuel meter 510 hangs off the Intake runner 530. It glues to the blowers on the belts, as outside air goes straight to blower, not intakes. Pressurized air comes straight from the output side of the blowers to the intake ports of the heads in the valley. No intake manifold.

Looks like the pieces in the kit that connect to the heads need to have some thickness added to create the proper look for each intake plenum.

Wow!  I can't thank you guys enough!  Especially the photos of the dual-supercharger intake, keyser.  But thanks to everyone who made comments.
