mrmike Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 This was my project for the Classic Plastic Model Club Challenge for our show Oct. 2, 2016. It is painted with Tamiya TS-92 Metallic Orange with a Tamiya TS-29 Semi Gloss Black and Metallic Orange interior. Lowered suspension, scripts removed, scratch made tachometer, wheels and tires from the Revell '72 Olds Cutlass Convertible.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Nice. The metallic orange looks good on it.
'70 Grande Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Excellent looking build! Your paintwork looks exceptional! This is one of my favorite kits and subject matter.
slusher Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Super sweet Fairlane Mike. Great color and stance.
mrmike Posted October 8, 2016 Author Posted October 8, 2016 Thank you guys! This came out better than I had hoped for. As i was building this, I keep finding little details that I could add along the way. Truly a nice kit!

mrmike Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 Thank you guys! This '66 Fairlane came out better than I had hoped for, even if I did compromise on a couple of details that I didn't have time for.
