wayne swayze Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Very nice! Looking forward to you pulling this all together! The paint is super nice!
DeeCee Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 Nice Dale . I expected more stripes from you ! Thanks guys, Dave, sometimes 'less is more', depending on what the focus is on with the build mate, and this time i don't think stripes will work, but stay tunes, i have something on the back burner which will have more than enough fancy striping.. Well, i also got the engine in, it's the kit 426 Hemi, with a couple of bigger carby's. Next pics will be of it finished..
72 Charger Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Dale I look forward to whatever it is on your backburner . Motor looks good BTW Those carbs are big enough to suck in little children

Got a couple of questions: 1) are the carbs from Detail Master or Model Car Garage?, 2) what kind/brand of putty did you use on the fender flares?

As for putty, i always use Squadron white putty, and then Automotive spray putty over that, to seal it, as white putty will suck up the auto acrylic paint otherwise.
DeeCee Posted November 17, 2016 Author Posted November 17, 2016 Thanks very much guys, she's nearly done, just final assembly now.
