CometMan Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Very well done, Emmanuel! I always loved that car!
Crusader101 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Beautiful build! And I love seeing it displayed with an original brochure along with that gorgeous, mint kit box!
mangodart Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 Thank you for all the nice comments
mangodart Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 Love it! I found one of these as a built up a few years ago & rebuilt it. Still one of my favorite pieces. Steve Steve, how have you managed the work on the rear taillight ? Is it BMF or Alclad paint ? This part was a real challenge for me and I'm not that happy about my work on it...
peekay Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Beautifully built - and what amazing looking cars these were.
bamadon Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Looks great. Not really a Mopar guy and I had forgotten how wild the fins were on those.

Just a lot of time and more than one piece of foil. This is one of the very few gripes that I have with some of these old Johan kits, molding the bezels to the body. The '60 Dodge was no fun either. I pulled a fast one on the '59 Dodge & actually sawed off the tail light bezels & had them chromed! Steve
Sixties Sam Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Very nice build! Nice color and great foil work. It's nice to see those old Jo-Han kits saved!Sam
Jeepxj Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Sweet ride. The backround looks great as well.
D. Battista Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Excellent job...!I like the color choice..... Love the 60's cars

Chromecop Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 A really nice build and the colors are beautiful! That's my absolute "dream-car" . But since they're hard to find for decent money in 1:1 , I'll have to stick to the 1/25 ones, and I do....I think there are 6 of them in my collection
