Tom Geiger
Very nice work! Reminds me of a story of course! Back in the mid 1980s a local new car dealer advertised a 1968 Belvedere 2 door with 60,000 miles at an attractive price. I ran to take a look and was immediately disappointed! Not that it was a completely bare bones car... slant 6, no power steering or brakes and manual everything else! But that it was completely rusted to pieces! I would have bought the car other than that. And of course it was that Mopar puke green! In that same era I did buy a 1967 Valiant bare bones two door sedan with 40,000 miles. I drove it as my commuter car for 3 years, bringing it up over 100,000 miles. Then one of the torsion bar boxes rotted through so I parted the car out. Smitty
I like your Plymouth Dan and I applaud your decision to make a model of a car that could get lost in a crowd of two! - At least when it was new. Now, of course it would stand out in any parking lot. Your background is exceptional as well.
