Just wish Round2 would have done them in white not yellow!

Yeah, I thought that was a bit odd, too, but maybe it's only for this specific kit? *fingers crossed*

I suspect there will be a few more show rod kits reissued which can utilize these tires in the next few years, kits such as the Barris 'T' Buggy, Tiger Shark, Raider's Coach, etc., which were reissued under RC2/Learning Curve which would require little more than new box art, decals, and tires. Let's hope the tampo printing is off-white in future kits, though.

Think some 1:1 Firestones in the '60s ran gold lettering. No inside info, but that's probably the look they were going for with these. If they do Goodyears, i'd guess those will have white letters.

Looks correct to me:

I'm guessing changing the ink color is all that would be required when tampo printing the sidewall lettering, so we'll see what's included when the kit(s) are released.

One Run of Fun, anyone?

Hmmm, a R2 direct issue like Streetle Beetle?

Casey, your pipeline seems good! :D

That intake looks like the Vending Machine IIRC.

Showrods always fun. Wonder if Casper's Paddy Wagon bits rattling around, chassis bits, albeit wrong, are under the Fire Truck.

Thanks for the info.

One Armed Bandit would be nice short run too. I never found a builder :( Lots of Dream Rod bits, same as Ice Cream Truck.

Seems like the The Wild Dream along with the King T and others were treated rather cruely since it's first issue. Although there's probably too little left it would be nice to see restored. The Street Beast '26 would be neat to have, I'd certainly be on board for a couple.

Has anybody bought one they could show us what is inside the box ?

I got one last week, it's just the same kit that was reissued by AMT/Ertl years ago, with the exception of chrome plated rear axle parts. I has the correct tires, but only the rears are tampo printed in white. It also has the correct decals.
