guitarsam326 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Looking good! I like the color choice, where are the tires from?
Warren D Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 Thanks all. The tires are from AITM, as of the time I bought them they weren't listed in the catalog. Not sure if they've been added yet, 14x24's.
Warren D Posted January 22, 2017 Author Posted January 22, 2017 Made some progress on the mixer body, final paint and decals. Still have a hand-full of detail parts to go. I've completed the cab/chassis though I will need to shorten the stack tip to get the mixer body attached. Bumper and steps are scratch as are the mirror supports and cab grab handles. Some of the parts from the A64B didn't do well over time and I like the look of the mirror brackets I made better, the kit ones are too fat.
towman1271 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Looking amazing..The autocar mixer combo is just perfect
Chariots of Fire Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Very nicely done! Love the tires! That's what a working truck should look like. Mirror brackets are always one of the things that can be improved with very little effort. Putting them more in scale does so much for the overall look of the rig.
Mopar - D Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Nice progress looking forward to see it all together
gatorincebu Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Wow ! lots of progress here. Things are looking good ! Be Well Gator
