Kit Basher Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 No matter how many I finish, they never look half as nice as yours. Stunning work! I want to drive that Monaco to my house.
W-409 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Your builds are always a pleasure to see. The fit and finish is just right on every one of them, and these are no exceptions either. Fantastic work on all of them, but that Monaco has to be my favorite. That body style is looking so good that I'd be happy to have one in 1:1 scale too, even though I'm not a Mopar guy. Great work!
Mr Stock Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Always look forward to every build you do Steve, your work is very inspiring, 3 of the best this year for me mate !
1959scudetto Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Fantastic as always, Steve - gorgeous models with perfect paint/foil and nice photos.Ma favourite is the '65/'66 (?) Chrysler (JoHan?)
Pete L. Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Great builds, they look like photos of 1:1 scale automobiles !!!
bogger44 Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Those are just outstanding, Steve. I've always loved your builds, can't wait to see whats in store for next year.
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 21, 2016 Author Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) Thanks so much guys! They were all great fun to build! At least that's how I choose to remember them! I'm still not ruling out making the finish line with my '62 300 convertible, but it's looking like an early January finish is much more likely. Fantastic as always, Steve - gorgeous models with perfect paint/foil and nice photos. Ma favourite is the '65/'66 (?) Chrysler (JoHan?) It's a '66 Helmut, & yes, it is by Johan. I finished a '65 in January of 2015. One of my biggest goals is to finish up the Johan '62-'68 Chrysler 300 line up. After I finish the '62, I'll just have the '63, '67 & '68 to go. Here's a photo of the '65. Steve Edited December 21, 2016 by StevenGuthmiller
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 21, 2016 Author Posted December 21, 2016 can't wait to see whats in store for next year. Most likely, a lot less Mopars, & a lot more Pontiacs! I have a bunch of old Bonnevilles to build. That's another line up I want to finish someday. 1958-1967. I have all of those, and the '68-'70 is not out of the question. Steve
Ridge Rider Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 I have to agree that you do some exceptional work on some uncommon examples. I enjoy seeing them-keep at it.
Xingu Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Very nice Steve. I always look forward to seeing your work and appreciate the progress shots and descriptions of what you did to achieve those great results.
Curt Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Three examples of clean building technique and inspired color choices. I appreciate you sharing your builds and I have learned things from them that have improved my modeling. Thanks!
D. Battista Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Awesome is an understatement....!All are Outstanding...!
om617 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 They look awsome Steven. Hard to pick a favorite, but i`d like to say the 66 Chrysler because of the stunning interior.
