carro Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 This was just a straight out of box build, just glue and paint added. I finished it last month but due to some computer issues I hadn't post it. It's far from perfect but a fun build with minimal fitting issues. Thank's for looking!
AC Norton Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 ....always liked this kit, yellow is a great color choice as well...nice.....the Ace..
D. Battista Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Nice job... clean and neat, and door, trunk and headlight lines look great.....
Snake45 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Nice shine! But what really caught my eye was your gas cap. That REALLY came out sharp! BTW, when was this kit last reissued? I think the coupe has been out two or three times since the roadster was last seen. Edited January 5, 2017 by Snake45
espo Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Very nice clean build. As the Snake said you just don't see the roadster any more. Just saw the latest reissue of the split window today at HL.
donb Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Super clean build. Not crazy about yellow cars though. Remind me of taxi's lol. But it iss very nice build!
NY Modeler Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Sharp looking build, and the color is great! Are those the kit wheels?
Snake45 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Are those the kit wheels? They seem to be the American-type mags that have been in most if not all reissues of the AMT '63 Vettes.
carro Posted January 6, 2017 Author Posted January 6, 2017 ....always liked this kit, yellow is a great color choice as well...nice.....the Ace.. Thank you! Good looking Vette. Thanks! Nice job... clean and neat, and door, trunk and headlight lines look great..... I always re scribe the body lines before spraying the primer, it gives it some depth. Thank you! Nice shine! But what really caught my eye was your gas cap. That REALLY came out sharp! BTW, when was this kit last reissued? I think the coupe has been out two or three times since the roadster was last seen. Thank you! the gas cap was just some bmf and then the white paint and the red and black on the flags. I don't know when the kit was reissued, this was part of a 5 corvette kits in one box from the late 80's or early 90S I believe Very nice clean build. As the Snake said you just don't see the roadster any more. Just saw the latest reissue of the split window today at HL. Thank you! Super clean build. Not crazy about yellow cars though. Remind me of taxi's lol. But it iss very nice build! Thank you. Sharp looking build, and the color is great! Are those the kit wheels? Yes they are the kit wheels, just used some tires from my parts box. The stock tires didn't look right . Thank you. Looks good Thank you.
