Thanks Geoff  I didn't realise it was from Italy . Got some on order though :D

they had a stand at the ipms nationals at Telford last year, thought I'd give them a try, I'm glad I did, just a tip, you need to build up the black basecoat in fine layers, leave to dry for half an hour or so,  and then do the wet coat, then leave to dry for 72 hours before starting the chrome.

Impressive work!!  Can't wait to see it done.   My father owned one in 57.  Loved it.  380HP 392 hemi was pretty fast for the time.

Just waiting for the oil filter and air filters to be installed

Dash Masked up so the light tan can be airbrushed

Probably one of my best masking jobs ...

Engine installed in the chassis

Started the bmf on the bonnet (Sorry, Hood)

All four wheels fitted, and as a bonus, they all tough the ground at the same time ...

Outstanding detailing on this build. The dash looks special.

Thank you, but with a little work, it now looks a little better, chrome was done using the Molotow liquid chrome pens

On a separate note, Did anyone make a 1:25th kit of the '57 300C Convertible ??, I've done a search on the 'net, and so far came up with nothing

No stryene kit ever made. but there was a resin conversion kit produced.  I think it was missing link whom made it ?

I personally wish someone did a 58 conversion,,,mainly just side emblems needed

perhaps because so many convertibles were made in real life ?

Timemachine resin did the convertible conversion kit. Very nice piece up there with Missing Link as in quality.

Purchased a very nice 58 Chrysler conversion from Australia, but if i remember right it`s a New Yorker.

Btw the 300 is coming along nicely.

Why not just remove the roof from the hardtop and just create a vinyl boot cover ?? I think you would refer to it as a cover for the folded convertible top.
