GeeBee Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 Thanks Geoff I didn't realise it was from Italy . Got some on order though they had a stand at the ipms nationals at Telford last year, thought I'd give them a try, I'm glad I did, just a tip, you need to build up the black basecoat in fine layers, leave to dry for half an hour or so, and then do the wet coat, then leave to dry for 72 hours before starting the chrome.
72 Charger Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Will do Geoff the results show on that bumper

GeeBee Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 On a separate note, Did anyone make a 1:25th kit of the '57 300C Convertible ??, I've done a search on the 'net, and so far came up with nothing
gtx6970 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 On a separate note, Did anyone make a 1:25th kit of the '57 300C Convertible ??, I've done a search on the 'net, and so far came up with nothingNo stryene kit ever made. but there was a resin conversion kit produced. I think it was missing link whom made it ? I personally wish someone did a 58 conversion,,,mainly just side emblems needed
GeeBee Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 No stryene kit ever made. but there was a resin conversion kit produced. I think it was missing link whom made it ? perhaps because so many convertibles were made in real life ?

Very nice piece up there with Missing Link as in quality.Purchased a very nice 58 Chrysler conversion from Australia, but if i remember right it`s a New Yorker.Btw the 300 is coming along nicely.

I think you would refer to it as a cover for the folded convertible top.
