geemoney Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 so I have too many stalled projects. I am going to pick this Coddington beauty. I am NOT spending a dime! i'm using a garlits digger as a donor. chopped using another roof
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Good looking concept; those lines and proportions WORK.
Snake45 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 I just LOVE "free," "found," and spare parts projects! Drive on!
Xingu Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Following along. Will have to see if those rear tires grow on me or not.
geemoney Posted March 1, 2017 Author Posted March 1, 2017 thanks for looking.thanks for the comments.I am on the fence with the rear tires as well.my plan is to begin finishing a bunch of my still born start-ups using ONLY what I have on hand.I mean NO cost, only using supplies I have.I will run out of glue though!more progress to come.
Foxer Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 A good looking start to an interesting project ... who has the popcorn?
Spex84 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Looks wicked so far! I agree with Ace, great proportions.I like the unusual combination of 60s dragster styling in the wheel/tire choice with a 90s hi-tech style body and a traditional deuce nose...lends it some "Hot Wheels" flavor.
Kennyboy Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 EVH Paint scheme would be epic. Would match the guitar to boot.....win and win.
geemoney Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 you guys are very observant!!its an '89 KRAMERI painted it EVH style and put a hockey stick neck on it.It needs to go.
geemoney Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 slow progress. firewall is good to go. started thinking about making a new axle, complicated suspension etc then I remembered the spirit of this build.
geemoney Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017 i think im gonna try to bring the rear tires in a bit
