DRIPTROIT 71 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Very nice looking build! That almost looks like alpine green under the hood. Did you convert this one to a Detroit?
kilrathy10 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 This is excellent.....I like this one....Again, with the opened doors.....Beautiful....
Carlg8999 Posted March 11, 2017 Author Posted March 11, 2017 V8 international color but it almost mimics alpine
Goodwrench3 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Very nice. What color/brand paint did you use for the interior ? I've been looking for that shade of tan for my current project.Thx
Carlg8999 Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 I mixed that years ago also used same color or inside of 1/12 camaro i built
kevjoh Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) apparently the axle has to be set forward about 2mm so as the wheels are centered in the wheel arch. anybody know anything about this? Edited March 13, 2017 by kevjoh
Carlg8999 Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 Yep they used the same mold from the 4270 its got shorter nose reason axle is set back i had move mine forward
Goodwrench3 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Interesting. Hadn't heard that before -- I'll put that in my notebook for when I break the seal on them.I've got 2 brand new factory shrink-wrapped 4270's in the stash that I'll probably work on first.I just love the 4270, 4300, and the COE Transtar II Eagle.
gatorincebu Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Really nice looking model ! You did a super job on the paint and decals . Be Well Gator
