It came out OK, but a small bit of paint has come off with the tamiya asking tape - which has really hacked me off, i'm going to have to try to touch up with a paint brush?

I just Googled  "nav screen" images and printed out on paper then glued on, then brushed some flat clear acrylic, here's the image I used:

This kit didn't come with any decals, its quite basic, so I'm going to use some from this decal sheet and use some of the metalic stickers too. I have enough Mustang kits to make use of these!

Hi Rick, on ebay many years ago from China, I don't think it was expensive,  but it took weeks to arrive!

This pic is from my review of the 2019 Mustang GT - maybe not close enough, but it's the actual screen!spacer.png

Yes, I think I'll try to print one of those!

I forgot to paint this bit of the rear underbody in the body colour, so I have to mask, spray a few coats of Zero grey, Pagini red, smoke and clear.

I used Zero 1K thinned with Mr Color Levelling thinner.

it's turned out OK, not perfect edges, but it'll be ok

I've also drilled out the exhaust pipe holes, I'll be using a bit of alu tube.

If you go back to the begining of the thread, you'll see the mess I made of the interior by removing the seats - I definately regret it now, but managed to start repairing the 2 holes either side of the centre transmission tunnel.

I have one of those kits started, to replicate (sort of) my '20 Mustang. I forget where I got the Cobra-ish wheels from, going almost box stock and made red caliper covers for it. I found a close match to Kona Blue in Duplicolor.

You didn't make a mess of the interior.

Once it's back together, it'll look way better than seats molded to the floor.

I do that anytime I have seats molded in.

You did good!

So I was waiting to clear coat at the same time as my Mazda MX5, but decided to bring this forward. the clear coat did work well (Zero 2K), but its unfortunately darker than the unmasked bits. I'll live with it!

I've also painted and coloured the trim of all the lights, that little strip under the rear wing was a pain!

Unfortunately the tail lamps are a weak &  I managed to brake one in half ?

Not a happy builder at the moment
