Modlbldr Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I finally finished this build. Number 2 for the year. I used the American Graffiti 56 with minor modifications. I removed the hood bulge, dropped the leading edge of the front fenders, removed the Connie kit and chopped the windshield, to list a few of the mods. Shot Walmart cheap Sally Hansen "Navy Fleet" nail polish through the airbrush. http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// Nothing really special here. Hood is even glued shut. Just wanted to do a quick little build and it drug out to a bit longer than I expected. But, it's DONE!! Thanks for looking and feel free to comment or criticize at will. Later-
espo Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I have never seen this kit look this good. I like the wheels, especially the deep set rears.
RestoModGuy Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Good looking cutom Bird! Nice job with the mods
Dave Darby Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 That's a really nice build. Here's one I did for my wife a few years ago that's a little more old school...
Modlbldr Posted March 26, 2017 Author Posted March 26, 2017 Thanks everybody. It was a fun build but I'm glad it's over and on the shelf.Dave- That is a beautiful build! Love the custom touches on it.Later-
donb Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Loe those 56 Birds. You did a fine job with it too. I remember the windshield being a real pain to get together.
