Silver Foxx Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Was never sure if I should post this here , but I just saw a nice one posted , so here's mine , I used an old nascar chassis , Tamiya paint , aftermarket rims and tires .
bbowser Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Looks great! Is that paint scheme based on a real one?
D. Battista Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Good lookin' Falcon...!Nice paint scheme and very well done... Looks good all the way around...!
Old Coyote Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 (edited) Wow ! Super impressive paint & decals ............ and the rest of the build looks to be top class also ! Great work Bruce .............. and it looks strange to see the name "Hendrick" on a Ford Edited May 27, 2017 by Old Coyote
'70 Grande Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Really like this build; everything about it looks top-notch! Sure would like to see a pic or two of the bottom to see how that old Nascar chassis "fits" underneath the great-loooking body. Also; did you have to fill-in and reduce the size of the huge wheel openings on that vintage body?
Silver Foxx Posted May 28, 2017 Author Posted May 28, 2017 Thanks for the nice comments , the wheels and tires came from Fred's Resin , not based on any real car , here is the underside pic , have no pipes on yet . The wheel openings were left pretty much as is .
Mikey56 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 first off, I love the scheme and the cleanness of it...the paint looks flawless and the combination of the kit parts, paint and tires/rims comes together in a great way! i really love the stance....too many times I see race cars that start as great builds and then the builder doesn't look at giving the car a "proper" stance...this in turn gives the model a weird look. yours doesn't....it looks great! give yourself a pat on the back! you deserve it!
Chris in Berwyn Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Probably the best-ever build of that body! Nice!
1930fordpickup Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Nice work. I like the paint scheme , 21 is a number in NASCAR I have liked for years.
