RIP Gregg. So many rockers from the 60's & 70's have been passing the last couple of years. When you're young you never think that the people in the groups you grow up with are going to one day get old & die.

Saw the Allman Bros Band on a number of occasions. When Gregg was on they were just Great!!!

So many great songs from them, REST IN PEACE MIDNIGHT RIDER!!

We always have enjoyed his music. My wife and I used Pandora last night to play as much of his music as possible on the deck and annoyed the neighbors.

His passing has had more of an effect on me than that of Chris Cornell. Not to diminish Chris's passing, it's just that the Allman Brothers music was a much bigger part of my life and holds many great memories from childhood.

Just a shame that some great musicians have passed on recently but that All Star band in heaven just got a little better! Gregg was the mastermind behind the writing of the music- Duane and Dickie Betts brought it to life.
