vintagercr Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 That's cool. I picked one up a while ago. Windshield frame is broken but salvageable
Howard Cohen Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Nicely done! My favourite kit! I have a few built, 2 red and a turquoise one from a collection.
DumpyDan Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Very cool David, I looked for one of these for years and finally was able to get one a few years back. Totally maid my year.
THarrison351 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Cool custom. You can see the origins of the "Bad Man" in the seats and the quirky mold lines around the forward upper part of the door.
alan barton Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Thanks for posting that Dave - I remember oggling the pictures in Model Car Science ads but have never seen photos of a built one until now. Who knew the Badman seats started out here? The little bumperettes are too cool. CheersAlan
Slotto Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Nice build. I dig it. Imagine being under that top on a sunny day!
Snake45 Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Absolutely Fabulous! I can't remember the last time I saw one of these. Too bad they can't or won't restore and reissue this kit. As much as we've all enjoyed building Badmans over the years (my own humble effort below) , it would be just Too Cool to have this back in its original form. Thanks for sharing this one!
David G. Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 A nice bit of model car history well rendered!David G.
