Chuck Most Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 I actually finished this months ago, but I don't think I ever put up any pics of it. I bought the kit for the 13B rotary engine for another project. I decided to build the remainder of the kit as a curbside. I used wheels and tires from a third-gen RX-7 and added some larger tailpipes from an Aohsima hop-up set, but aside from that it's box stock. Well, aside from that and the lack of drivetrain detail, I guess.
Chris1992 Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Looks cool! I have a real soft spot for old school jap stuff I'm intrigued as to what you used the engine for! Got any pics?

kelson Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Great build of a kit not often seen, but that top should be off!.
Rob Hall Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Nice..never seen that kit built. I built the coupe version back in the day.
Jonathan Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Very nice. I've been working on this kit, too. I filled the hood as I've never seen a convertible with the turbo engine here Stateside. But ... I understand people did add the Turbo II hood because it was lighter, even if they didn't have the turbo 13b engine. I believe the Turbo II was available in the convertible in other parts of the world. I like your build, it looks just right.
