AFX-N-Scale Resin

Does anybody know what happen to AFX Scale Resin?

Wendell and Monica never sent my order out.

I thought they had been out of business for 5-10 years and that another caster took over their products (t.m. resin on eBay aka Time Machine Resin or someone else, not sure) ?  It's been at least 10 years since I've bought anything from AF/X..

Kind of wonder if it is not Wendel Sowers just playing the part of someone else. His stuff seems to pop up from time to time from various sellers claiming they have the molds iirc. Then poof...gone again. Seems odd is all.

Could be...IIRC at one time he was using weird excuses for being late on delivery of orders--hurricanes, locusts, killer ants, whatever...

I recall that seller. Had an Air Trax (or copy of it) Chrysler 300. I'm guessing a copy, based on the price, around $75.00 IIRC

The seller you guys are talking about is here. Frank, that auction (ended) for the Chrysler 300 is right here.

Not long ago, I got a 1967 Dart GT conversion set from them............very good as it was cleanly cast with no pinholes or deformities.

Ive heard they burned many a sellers.

 

Heres just one of the names they've used . Usually the MO ends up to be the same .  Just reopens under a new name.

I remember that seller...bought a few resin parts from them without problems IIRC...

Oh Ive bought several pieces from them. Never a problem. BUT Ive heard horror stories from those that've been burned
