They caught it early, there are options...my buddy has been going through this for the last year and a half,...in remission now...

I hope you meant PRE cancerous. That was my diagnosis 18 years ago. I had a portion of the colon removed but have had no problems since. Just regular colonoscopies since. Best of luck and keep getting checked.

Mark, I am sorry I have not seen your post until now. I will keep you in my prayers. I had a large polyp removed in 2007 and the last two have been good. I have to schedule one for December next month. Prayer coming your way friend!

The simple truth here is for both guys and gals is that this simple test can and does save lives. Our doctor finally convinced me to get it done. They found and removed cancerous polyps but decided to do a colon resection to be sure they had gotten everything. To do that it they removed four feet of my large intesttne (that's half of it). All in all those proceddres saved my life. Just get it done  !!!!
