Casey Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 (edited) *JO-HAN '69 Road Runner Custom grille* Edited November 8, 2017 by Casey
Xingu Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 My first impression when seeing this was Fury police car.
dodgefever Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I think that's the custom grille from the JoHan '69 Roadrunner.
Snake45 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I think that's the custom grille from the JoHan '69 Roadrunner. That was exactly my thought, too.

Casey Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 (edited) Can anyone identify which kit this bench seat came from?: *edit* AMT '67 Lincoln Continental Edited November 18, 2017 by Casey
Snake45 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 (edited) The emblem looks very Lincoln-y, so my WAG would be some sort of AMT Continental. Now as to what exact year, I have no idea. Maybe Ron H or Steven G would have a better idea. Edited October 26, 2017 by Snake45
Casey Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 It does seem like it'd be from some type of high end model (Continental, Imperial, etc) with such a fancy seat design on it. I thought AMT Monte Carlo, but those all seam to be molded with the console. Most of the early AMT Continentals have a full tub interior with the seats molded in, and the '65 Continental is very similar, but the center section looks different looking at the part on an eBay listing.
Mark Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 I'm thinking '66-'69 Continental, not sure of the year though. AMT probably stopped doing interior updates after the last promotional models, so it could be more than one year.
Snake45 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 1967 Lincoln, one year only I think.I think we have a winner....http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/lincoln/amt-1967-lincoln-co/64272007.html

pack rat Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Anybody know where this molded in lime green then plated piece, which has a slight taper along the long dimension (~1" long) came from? It looks like the lime green plastic Monogram molded a few kits with in the '70s (Horn Toad, Poison Pinto, Duster's Last Stand F/C, T'rantula, etc), but it doesn't ring any bells for me. It looks like a split rear spoiler, bumperette (I though Pinto Street Rod, but no), or ???? That is a custom grille insert from the MPC '70 Cuda annual (one of a pair).
Snake45 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 That is a custom grille insert from the MPC '70 Cuda annual (one of a pair). Now, where else on Earth are you gonna go to get an answer like that?
Casey Posted November 8, 2017 Author Posted November 8, 2017 (edited) Thanks, Mike. Edited November 18, 2017 by Casey
Casey Posted November 8, 2017 Author Posted November 8, 2017 (edited) How about this one... Edited November 18, 2017 by Casey
Mark Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 How about this one... I'm guessing late '70s or early '80s RWD hatchback or fastback of some sort (based on the exposed/carpeted rear floor/cargo area), AMT or MPC. Rear has a 4-link suspension, front upper A-arms, looks like a 4-seater. I think I've ruled out Monza, Mustang II, Pinto, GM F-body, and MPC Toyota Supra. MPC '79-'88 Mustang (Mustang III?)
Casey Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 (edited) Next up, this molded-in-white Corvette hood. *edit: MPC '67 Corvette* Edited November 18, 2017 by Casey
Snake45 Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Easy one. MPC '67 Corvette coupe, possibly an original annual issue, but also just as likey from one of its many reissues.

I'd go with the annual...I've got a couple of different reissues, and I don't think any of them have the "427" on the scoop because all of them have small-block engines.
