oldnslow Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 After the umptheenth time loosing a part , I so far cured the problem by thumb tacking an old grocery apron to the edge of the bench , then when I sit down to work , I put the loop over my head and have a nice catch for any parts that try to escape .
PARTSMARTY Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I like everybody else have dropped pieces-some found some not-i'll never understand it -lol.
chepp Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Gee, I can understand losing a tiny part on a shag carpet. But what explains where one 1/25 slick went to on my wood floor a week ago?
Snake45 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Gee, I can understand losing a tiny part on a shag carpet. But what explains where one 1/25 slick went to on my wood floor a week ago?It rolled into another dimension.
GLMFAA1 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Once found a missing part from a model my brother brought to me 2 weeks later in my gravel driveway!Suggestion if you have a hose type vacuum cleaner insert a piece of your wife's old hosiery in the hose to form a pocket in the hose and vacuum the area, the hosiery will catch the parts the carpet monster upchucksgreg
randyc Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Yep, happened to me. In addition to model car parts, I have lost a screw from a bicycle that has been MIA for over a year.
