Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Saw some very cool box art models, and even built some. Then the idea hit me. Why not to build a reverse box art? Sent the picture to a couple of friends, and now they are looking for this super rare issue of the Monogram kit, LOL!!!!!!!!! Should I tell? 1940 Ford Reverse Box Art by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr 1940 Ford Reverse Box Art by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr Even being a super duper "rare" kit, I have one out of the plastic: 1940 Ford Reverse Box Art by CCCP Digital Studio, on Flickr
Draggon Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Ha! Your model looks a heck of a lot better on that box than 110% of what Revell uses. Maybe they should hire you. But seriously, I suspect you are just trying to show off that perfect black paint job
Mahogany Rush Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Wow! Great job on the black. Someday, I may paint a car black.
TooOld Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Another beautiful '40 Ford ! Love the reverse box art idea , we should all do one !
Slotto Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Beautiful Ford Tulio. There is a guy who is doing this for a fee. It's like $50 USD and you have to send him the pix.
Mr. Muppet Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 That shine on that paint job is so deep, you should be careful you don't fall in. The box art is a really cool idea, too. Very impressive.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 23, 2017 Author Posted December 23, 2017 Thanks gentlemen!! Got the idea as I really didn't like the Monogram box art on this particular kit. It's a all stock blue Ford with some very odd white decals that are quite ugly. The first issue box art, with the green Ford on a nice grass field, even tough you could not get a green '40 Standard.
