I'll post this now since I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to finish anything else this year...

The year started out strong as I finally finished my '55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser in March. It was built from Revell's reissue of the old Monogram "BadMan" kit with lots of modifications here and there. I started it already in 2014 so it was about time to have it completed.:P

...And just like last year (And the year before), that's it!:D I'd liked to finish more than one, but 1:1 cars took so much time that I got very little bench time after the spring. I've been making a good progress with my '62 Chevy II that I converted from 4D Sedan into a 2D Sedan, and then we built a new tow vehicle for our Stock Eliminator Malibu, and of course spent the summer Drag Racing with that!

Anyway, it looks like I'll be finishing more than one in 2018 as I have a couple projects now that are getting pretty close of being done, plus then I really need to finish one Contest entry on another forum.... So hopefully next year I can post some more builds on here too.B)

Great looking '55 Niko !  Nice to see that kit finished differently than the yellow Bad Man that everyone does .

Looks like you've been having fun with the Malibu .  Maybe one day we'll get to those resin Chevelles we bought a while back ! :D

Maybe only one, but like last year, a good one. A real improvement on the Badman. As has been mentioned, quite realistic - obviously taking advantage lots of "product knowledge" gained by all that seat time at the strip come the long days of summer! All the best to you and yours this holiday and here's wishing you a fulfilling 2018.

I agree that it's great to see different versions built from these common kits. The BadMan looks cool, but there are so many of them seen in the internet that I wanted to do something different with mine.

We have two of those '73 Chevelle resin kits in here, I have one and my dad has one too. I should start that at some point, I'm thinking a Stock Eliminator '73 Chevelle.... Then I have a couple of '75 Chevelle Stock Car kits and another one of them should be converted into a replica of our '74 Stock Eliminator car...B)

That's right, I've always been shooting for quality over quantity. :P It was a lot of fun to do some improvements on an old kit like this and I'll be doing more similar builds in the future. And Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours too!
