absmiami Posted May 20, 2022 Author Posted May 20, 2022 Upper radiator hoses - leading away fr each cyl bank - made from .040 nickel silver rod - ill add some hose connector clamps and spray on a coat of clear to deal with tarnish / over time …. Engine isnt in yet - gotta make / insall the lower hoses first …
absmiami Posted May 21, 2022 Author Posted May 21, 2022 Ive got a diminishing stash of nickel silver strip that i cut up from a sheet - using a sherline mill - some years ago … i twisted the .20 wide strip around round stock, snipped off a ring, and soldered it to a length of nick-silver .20 tube - Sprue Brothers sells it in the US. - and that’s my hose clamp - looks better than the photo-etched stuff that you can buy for this scale …. Ill source a nut or screw to set into the clamp …
