I may have been mistaken about the purpose of this pump - it may receive oil from a tank in the scuttle. -  there ARE 2 lines running into the cam covers on the exhaust side of the cyl heads - these may be the tach lines - …. 
where’s Patrick Delage when you need him ???

Upper radiator hoses - leading away fr each cyl bank - made from .040 nickel silver rod - ill add some hose connector clamps and spray on a coat of clear to deal with tarnish / over

time ….  
Engine isnt in yet - gotta make / insall the lower hoses first …

Ive got a diminishing stash of nickel silver strip that i cut up from a sheet - using a sherline mill - some years ago …

i twisted the .20 wide strip around round stock, snipped off a ring, and soldered it to a length of nick-silver .20 tube - Sprue Brothers sells it in the    US. -  and that’s my hose clamp - looks better than the photo-etched  stuff that you can buy for this scale …. Ill source a nut or screw to set into the clamp …

Gradually emerging from hoseclamp hell - the clamps have Tuner Model Factory adjusting bolts - the .06 is close enough to the right size -   The sleeves are on the pipes and left and right  are ready for the install - but first i must correct my lower radiator pipe arrangement …

The answer to yesterday’s riddle - front engined pre-war race cars were started off the front of the cranshaft - see the pg 1 leno video - so the lower radiator hoses emerge from the block on either side of the crank - thus …

Got the engine installed. For good - the lower radiator hoses have sleeves but no hose clamps - im all clamped out …

“Some assembly required”. 
the fr uprights are cast to the brake backing plates - which aids assembly but also means that the fr wheels will not be posable - that’s ok - but i still have to make the suspension parts - mostly fr nickel silver … the castle style bolts are fr my Master Club stock …

The tie rod tucks into a recess in the lower body work - made From nickel silver tube - .040 - Albion Alloys - with pivots made fr nickel silver rod and some RB Motion nuts …

Cable brakes …. State of the art in 1925 ….  
safe?  No   reliable ?  No.   Similar to the brake arrangement on the Bugatti 35.  The cable grabs this device - which then pivots the shaft to engage the brake in the drum - try this at speed on a bumpy turn - lots of luck …
