ismaelg Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Hello, A few days after finishing the blue C7 I was able to finish this "simple quick build" I was working in parallel. This is an Arctic White C7 Stingray convertible, NON-Z51, 3LT Adrenaline red interior, J6A black calipers. The scale is 1/24. You can tell the scale differences when next to the 1/25 blue car. Now, before getting any excitement, this is only a glorified toy I took apart, slightly modified for accuracy, repainted and added some details. I stripped the red paint and tightened the gaps in the doors and hood by adding styrene strips. I added seatbelts, other minor details and painted the interior. Body paint is Dupli-Color authentic GM Arctic White lacquer with duplicolor lacquer clear. Unfortunately, most trim details were molded in so they were hard to hand paint. Added brake calipers and rotors. All emblems are extra duplicates I did for the blue car. I'm happy to say I've built a C7 convertible Stingray, my way. Let me know what you think. Thanks,
