Mike 1017 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 (edited) I wish that I could have been there to this car up close. Maybe it will be showed at all Custom shows around the country. I think that if this was a roadster it could win the Riddler Trophy Edited March 4, 2018 by Mike 1017 wrong word
D. Battista Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Very cool looking car...indeed ! But what does being a roadster have to do with winning the Ridler Award ?
Mike 1017 Posted March 4, 2018 Author Posted March 4, 2018 (edited) Because I don't like that convertible top. I would like to see the interior with the top down Edited March 4, 2018 by Mike 1017 wrong word
Exotics_Builder Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 That looks like a Dave Kindig design that an episode showed. https://www.google.com/search?q=kindig+lincoln+v12&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj8lq_N-9LZAhULq1kKHU2uBQMQsAQIOA&biw=1613&bih=894 http://www.kindigit.com/gallery/58-lincoln-continental/

Other than the lack of skirts, it's just about perfect. ?
sfhess Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 They left the skirts off on purpose. They grafted in front fender openings in order to show off the wheels and give it a more "hot rod" flavor.

And it is okay for others not to agree with on that point. We all don't like the same thing. Nor do we have to. That what makes life interesting.
Casey Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Ugh, that back angled rear window looks good on nothing. That definitely helps take away some of the massiveness, but this is no small car, and so much body sculpting...the wheels and tires work well with the car though.
carrucha Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 I went to the show and saw the car. Pretty cool. Too bad my camera's battery charge ran out and I couldn't take any pictures.
