I don't think I read it on here, but are you,or did you, cremate your cats?Just curious.I buried one,and had the two I put down cremated.I don't know,it was as a hard decision to do it,but then I just decided to do it.People always say,oh now they will always be with you..I guess so.Ah in short,it just sucks when you lose a pet(s).Like I said,no more for me.

I had them both cremated but I did not save the ashes . This vet makes paw prints in a clay that air dries and snips a little fur as well . All in a nice case and box . No extra charge . Those I did take

Yea the vet took took the paw prints of both cats.So I have that, and their ashes.Anyway, hope you feel better.Things will get easier as time goes on.Oh man,I sound like a Hallmark card.

Sorry for your losses.  My cat Red had a scare last week.....acted like he was chocking.....$1100 later they are not sure what happened but he went from 'put him down' to a 100% in 4 days....happy to have him back...no matter the $$$

Maybe rescue another cat in a few months.......thxs for caring for them for years.

Thanks to all ! I am still considering another pet as I am retired and home alone most of the day . Wife is gone from about 6 to 5 so I do miss the company . Nobody will ever convince me that a pet is not company , they are !

My pet considers me his pet.  And that's not bad at all.  (Works for us, anyway.)

He also considered everyone who came to the DESERT SCALE CLASSIC After-Action Barbeque last Saturday to be HIS friends!  (Yes, he had a great time, too!)
